About me
I am a professional linguist passionate about human communication in all forms, from languages to art. Convinced in the power of words, I am honoured to be the voice of persons, companies, and institutions seeking to reach their audience in its native language.

A native speaker of Russian, I have professional command of English and French and constantly work on polishing my knowledge of these languages and their cultural nuances to deliver smooth and natural sounding translation or copy in any of them.

Sensitive to style and the beauty of language, I always remember that content commands the form, and do my best to make communication work and ensure that your message is transmitted across language barriers.

  • A course
    Since 2022, I provide remote consecutive interpreting (French<>Russian) for the course "Psychoanalytical Work with Couples" by Dr Éric Smadja.
  • Law & social media
    Since 2019, I have translated diverse legal documents, as well as social media publications on legal subjects, for CLAIMS, a legal firm with international presence.
  • A global forum
    I was an interpreter (French<>Russian) at the Eurasian Women's Forum held in Saint-Petersburg in 2021.
  • Workshops
    In 2020, I provided remote simultaneous interpreting (English<>Russian<>French)
    at several CSO consultation workshops for Via Campesina.
  • Art events
    In 2017-2018, I offered consecutive interpreting (French<>Russian) at several events by Institut Français de Saint-Pétersbourg: a public lecture on urban architecture and a lecture on concrete music.
  • A book
    I translated Tamed: Ten Species That Changed Our World by Alice Roberts into Russian in 2019.
  • Documentaries
    In 2016-2020, I translated dozens of documentaries on nature and adventures from English into Russian for 1TVCh for further dubbing.
  • Guided tours
    In 2012-2019, I gave guided tours in English and in French in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, taking visitors inside museums and heritage sites.

Translation
I have a solid experience in translating diverse types of texts from English or French into Russian and from Russian into English or French. Working with written materials, I always pay attention to the style, format, and target audience of the text, so that the translation is as functional as the original.

You can trust me with the translation of:

Interpreting
I assist you in oral communication with your clients, partners, colleagues, and audiences in English, French, and Russian. Discreet and accurate, I make sure every grain of the meaning is delivered in a smooth message in any format, from small talk to official speeches.

I offer consecutive, simultaneous, and chuchotage interpreting during:

At the moment, I provide interpretation services in-person in Portugal and remotely to clients around the world. I have a rich experience of on-site, remote, and hybrid setups.
Copywriting
In my career, I have dealt with most diverse texts as a translator, reader, writer, or editor. In 2022, I completed a training in copywriting to understand the subtleties of creating texts for businesses, from content strategy to SEO-optimization. I can help your business find its voice in Russian or in English to reach new audiences.

Psychoanalysis
Since 2021, I have been trusted to interpret at supervisions for psychoanalysts, and since 2022, I have offered interpretation and translation services for a training course in psychoanalytical work with couples. I constantly work on improving my knowledge in this area through reading and translation of original texts.
Legal
I hold a Master's degree in Communications Law from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris, France). I have good knowledge of media and IP law, as well as basic notions in other areas of civil law.
Art and Culture
Art is my passion, and over a long time I have worked in the cultural sphere. For 8 years, I was a tour-guide in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Since 2020, I have worked as a cultural consultant, helping conceive and develop cultural and artistic experiences, from exhibitions and events, to museums and strategies for institutions.
Marketing
Trained as a copywriter, I am sensitive to the business potential and function of every text. I respect your TOV, do the SEO, and understand your UTP. In other words, I will help your business get its message across to customers around the world in their language.
As a professional translator and interpreter, I am an avid learner and an efficient researcher, able to quickly grasp the basics and track down the specificities of a new subject field.
